Vacuums and Tumbling
An in cabinet vacuum pump, with easily accessible liquid traps, are standard equipment on all Lance Massage Tumblers. Tumbling in a vacuum prevents foaming by removing the air bubbles from the product. Using a vacuum during the tumbling process also provides a more intense cured color by reducing exposure to air during the tumbling process. The use of a vacuum also increases the water holding capacity of the product, while reducing the length of time needed to obtain a good bind and protein extraction.
